(Crime No.329 of 2018) Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to transfer the FIR in Crime No.329 of 2018 dated 30.07.2018 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police, to CBCID or any other effective investigation agency that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that in connection with the investigation in FIR No.329 of 2018, she had also given a complaint on 13.12.2018 which has been looked into by the respondent herein along with the complaint in FIR No.329 of 2019. The reason for seeking for transfer of investigation is that there is no much progress in the complaint made by the petitioner herein.

2.In my view, such a reasoning may not be proper for the purpose for transfering the investigation. Nevertheless, if the respondent is directed to complete the investigation within a stipulated time, the ends of justice would be secured.

3.In the light of the above observations, the respondent herein is directed to complete the investigation in FIR No.329 of 2018, as expeditiously as possible from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Assistant Commissioner of Police, CCB having jurisdiction over the respondent herein shall monitor such an investigation.

4.With the above observations, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
