This Writ Petition has been filed declaring that the short term RM Segregation contracts issued to the 4th respondent by the 3rd respondent on 07.07.2022 and 23.06.2022 respectively and its further renewal in favour of them is unlawful and illegal and consequently, direct the respondents 1 to 3 to issue fresh tender notification with respect to the contract of RM Segregation by following the due procedure.
2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the petitioners submitted that during the pendency of this petition, fresh tender was issued on 03.01.2023 and the same was also passed in favour of the successful bidder and therefore, prayer sought for in these petitions has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication. The learned counsel for the petitioners have also not raised any objection.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, these writ petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 10.03.2023 Index: Yes/ No Internet: Yes/No rli To
