This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents herein to give police protection to the petitioner to continue the construction in the premises of a Trust property, situated in 143, Perungudi Village, Saidapet Taluk, Chengalpattu District, comprising Survey number S.No.223/4 and Patta No.502, to the extent of 23,530 Sq.ft.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the said property in which the petitioner seeks police protection for construction, is a private property of a Trust. Therefore, if there is any hindrance, the petitioner has to approach the

competent civil Court and not the police. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is dismissed.
