Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the second respondent relating to order made in TN87/2019/71 dated 12.07.2019 suspending the driving licence of the petitioner for a period of 5 months and 29 days from 08.06.2019 to 07.12.2019 and to quash the same, consequently direct the second respondent herein to return the Original Driving Licence (DL.No.TN 20 Z 19960001886) to the petitioner forthwith.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the second respondent relating to order made in TN87/2019/71 dated 12.07.2019 suspending the driving licence of the petitioner for a period of 5 months and 29 days from 08.06.2019 to 07.12.2019 and to quash the same, consequently direct the second respondent herein to return the Original Driving Licence (DL.No.TN 20 Z 19960001886) to the petitioner forthwith.

2. It is reported by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that the driving licence https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the petitioner has been returned after completion of his suspension period. The acknowledgment of the receipt of the original driving licence by the petitioner also been produced.

3. Recording the same, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
