O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 05.03.2024 seeking sub-classification of land situate in Survey No.87/2 with an extent of 7 cents, Keelkuppam Village, Chinnasalem Taluk, Kallakurichi District - 606 301. 2.It is the case of the petitioner, he purchased the above mentioned land from Viswanathan, son of Periyasamy Moopar under a registered sale deed dated 13.11.2013. He submitted a representation before the respondents on 05.03.2024 seeking sub-classification of the land purchased by him. The same has not been considered. Hence, he is before this Court.

Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 05.03.2024 will be considered on its own merit within the time fixed by this Court. The learned Special Government Pleader also submits that the petitioner has not applied for sub-division of the survey number, but he simply applied for transfer of patta and therefore, if the petitioner submits a fresh application for sub-division, the same will be considered.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application before the 2nd respondent seeking sub-division of the survey number within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any such application is made, the same shall be considered and disposed of on its own merit by the 2nd respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of submission of the application.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
