The petitioner/accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 323, 498A and 506(2) of IPC and Sections 85, 115(2) and 351(2)(3) of BNSS and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, 2002 in Crime No.Not known of 2024 seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that no case is registered against the petitioner, based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, the respondent police had enquired the matter. He further submits that the enquiry is pending against the petitioner in C.S.R.No.248 of 2014 and the investigation will be completed as early as possible. The respondent police have not harassed the petitioner.
