Prayer: Criminal Original Petitions filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to give permission to the petitioner to travel to Malaysia and Singapore, and to travel to Dubai, pending investigation of the criminal case in Crime Nos.311 and 312 of 2008 on the file of the respondent police.

Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER Petitions have been filed by the petitioner seeking permission to to travel to Malaysia and Singapore, pending investigation of the criminal cases in Crime Nos.311 and 312 of 2008 on the file of the respondent police.

2.Heard the learned counsel for both sides.

3.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Publice Prosecutor, this Court is of the view that the petitioner may be accorded permission to go to Malaysia and Singapore, for which there is no objection by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4.Accordingly, the petitioner is permitted to travel to Malaysia and Singapore, for a period of one month, subject to the following conditions:-

1. The petitioner is directed to use his passport to travel abroad for the specified purpose only.

2. The petitioner is directed to submit his tour plan / schedule before the respondent police one week prior to his departure.

3. The petitioner is directed to submit all the certified copies of the travel documents viz. Visa, Air Ticket, etc., relating to his journey, before the respondent police.

4. The petitioner shall furnish his full address of stay, contact telephone numbers, fax number and e-mail address etc., before the respondent police.

5. The petitioner shall give an undertaking by way of an affidavit before the Court before which the cases are pending that he will not extend his stay and will return to India within the time limit specified by this Court.

6. The petitioner is directed to submit the certified copy of the passport before the respondent police before leaving to abroad.

7. The petitioner shall give an undertaking that he will not cause trammel to the progress of the investigation in his absence.

8. The petitioner is directed to report before the respondent police on the next date of expiry of one (1) month period.

5.With these directions, the Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
