Today, when this application was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this application and he also made an endorsement to that effect.

But, according to Mr.N. Ramanathan, learned A.G. & O.T., after adjusting the advance amount of Rs.6,50,000/-, the applicant still owes rental arrears of Rs.1,94,547/-.

In a riposte, the learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant has not utilised the property at all. Be that as it may, in view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the applicant seeking withdrawal, this application is dismissed as withdrawn and the applicant shall pay the arrears of Rs.1,94,547/- within 30 days from today.
