Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, to call for the records in connection with the order of Detention passed by the second respondent dated 25.07.2019 in Memo No.430/BCDFGISSSV/2019, against the petitioner husband Kuzhanthaivelu, male aged 24 years, S/o.Soud Muthu Goundar, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal II, Chennai and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Memo No.430/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 25.07.2019 detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3575 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 23.09.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
