This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for records pertaining to the FIR in Cr. No.94 of 2017 on the file of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vazhapadi Police Station, Salem District and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first & second respondent submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed and taken on file in P.R.C. No.30 of 2020 by the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Athur.

3. In view of the above submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further consideration in this Criminal Original Petition and the same is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
