C O M M O N O R D E R The petitions have been filed to quash the criminal complaint filed by two groups of College students alleging physical attack against each other.
2. After efflux of time, the students have decided to bury their difference and withdraw the complaints against each other. Accordingly they have given an undertaking to the respondent Police that in future they will not indulge in any violent activities and conduct themselves respectfully.
3. Recording the said undertaking, the respondent Police has closed both the complaints.
4. In view of the above facts, nothing survives in the applications to quash Crime Nos.211 and 212 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent Police, except to record the under taking given by the petitioners in both the petitions and closure of the complaint. It is made 3/5
clear that the registration of the complaints and subsequent closure shall have no bearing in the carrier of the petitioners.
