O R D E R

(Order of the Court delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) The writ of mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take action on petitioner's representations dated 31.12.2018 and 04.09.2017 and remove the encroachments made by the 4th respondent in public cart track running in S.F.No.695/1, Ramanayakkan Palayam (North) Village, Athur Taluk, Salem District.

With reference to the relief sought for, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to conduct a survey and identify the encroachments if any in Government properties and thereafter, issue a show cause notice and evict the encroachments by following the procedures as contemplated under the relevant Act and Rules. The said exercise is directed to be conducted within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Page No.2 of 4

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
