Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the fifth respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2023 and consequently not issue a patta in respect of Survey No.1/9Q agricultural land to Schedule Tribunals people belong Periya Irumpedu Village, Tiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.K.Durai Murugan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader assisted by Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the fifth respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2023 and consequently, not issue patta in respect of land bearing S.No.1/9Q, which is an agricultural land and the other members of the petitioner's Community are cultivating the said land,.

3. The petitioner is allotted land bearing S.No.1/9. The petitioner is not concerned with the land bearing S.No.1/9Q.

4. Learned State Government Pleader submits that an enquiry was conducted and a decision was taken on 20.06.2023 to issue pattas in favour of seventy six persons.

5. In the light of the above, we are not inclined to entertain the writ petition. In case of any alternate remedy available, the affected parties may resort to the same.

6. The writ petition, as such, stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
