ORDER

The petitioner/wife seeks expeditious disposal of FCOP.No.38 of 2023 pending before the learned Family Judge at Tiruvannamalai, which has been filed by her under Section 13(1)(ia) of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 seeking dissolution of the marriage with the respondent/husband. Page No.1 of 4

2. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and I have also gone through the materials placed on record.

4. The major grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has filed the said OP seeking dissolution of the marriage in the year 2023 and despite the pleadings having been completed, the OP is not yet been disposed of. Further, the interim applications have also been taken out for payment of interim maintenance and other reliefs and the same are also still pending.

5. In the light of the above, direction is issued to the learned Family Judge at Tiruvannamalai to dispose of the Interlocutory applications pending, if any, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, shall dispose of the Page No.2 of 4

main case in FCOP.No.38 of 2023 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) months, after hearing the parties.

6. Accordingly, this Civil revision petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
