Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to take further action based on the representation of the petitioner dated 09.06.2016 as contemplated under Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner alleges unauthorized construction by the 4th respondent. It is stated that stop work notice is issued on 08.11.2014, but the work is still carried on. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Learned counsel for the Corporation / respondent Nos. 1 to 3 states that it is a case of sanctioned plan, whereas there have been deviations, which resulted in issuance of stop work notice. He undertakes to the court that necessary action post the stop work notice would be carried out and the issue concluded, within a maximum period of three months from today.

3. The aforesaid statement is taken on record and the Corporation will be bound by the same.

4. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
