This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to issue legal heir certificate to the petitioner.

2. The husband of the petitioner committed suicide and Maduravayal police has registered F.I.R.No.2008 of 2016 regarding the said suicide. The petitioner's husband was working in the Cine field and she has to get monetary benefit from them. Apart from that, the petitioner is in need of the legal heir certificate to transfer the Bank Account, E.B., Tax and Gas Cylinder etc. Therefore, she sent a representation to the respondent to issue legal heir certificate. But no action has been taken on the said representation till date and hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondents, to dispose of the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
