ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to restore the name of the petitioner in the panel for promotion to the post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster 2023-24 approved vide proceedings of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.39620/W1/E1/2023 dated .08.2023 and consequently directing the respondents to promote he petitioner to the post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster based on panel seniority with all consequential benefits, in consideration of the 2/6
representation submitted by the petitioner dated 09.08.2023, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The case of the writ petitioner is that he rendered more than 19 years of service as P.G. Assistant and he is eligible to be promoted to the post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster on inclusion of his name in 2023-24 panel based on seniority and eligibility. The contention of the petitioner is that the first respondent issued a presumptive panel for promotion to the post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster on 24.07.2023 in which the petitioner's name has been included. The grievance of the petitioner is that his name has been deleted from the panel for promotion due to simultaneous degree acquired by the petitioner during the year 1994-96. In this regard, the petitioner has already given a representation to the respondents on 09.08.2023 through emal. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents through email only on 09.08.2023 and without giving a reasonable time, the petitioner has approached this Court.
4. Be that as it may. Since the petitioner's name is alrady found in the draft seniority list, and his name has been removed in the final list without any reason, the petitioner is directed to give a hard copy of the representation to the respondents within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. On receipt of such representation, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass Orders on its own merits within a period of one month and thereafter, take further action on the basis of the final seniority list.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 16.08.2023 4/6
