ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider the report submitted by the 6th respondent dated 29.07.2019 to issue a new patta in the petitioner joint patta in the names of the petitioner's and her brother D.Subramani @ Haji Alikhan Navasi Khan.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that she and her brother namely D.Subramani @ Haji Alikhan Navasi Khan is in posession to an extent of 5 cents comprised in Nanjais.No.207/2B2A in Unamancherry Village, Vandalur Firka, Vandalur Taluk, Chengalpattu District. While so, the patta for the subject property has been mutated in favour of third parties namely Mr.Nagappan and Mr.Balakrishnan in patta No. 577. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation to the first respondent on 06.06.2019 for cancellation of the patta, thereafter enquiries were conducted by the sixth 2/4

respondent and the sixth respondent has submitted its report on 29.07.2019. However, till date no action has been taken. Hence, seeks appropriate orders of this Court.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the facts and cicrumstances of this case and having regard to the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the fourth respondent to consider the report submitted by the sixth respondent on 29.07.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as the Mr.Nagappan and Balakrishnan within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
