This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 278 days in filing the criminal appeal against the order dated 02.09.2022 in Special S.C.No.3/2017 on the file of the Special Court under the POCSO Act, 2012, Puducherry.

2. Mr.K.S.Mohandass, learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) assisted by Ms.N.Danalatchoumy, learned counsel takes notice of the respondent and he did not raise any serious objection. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.
