ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to sanction the pension of the petitioner's husband namely K.Subramani, payable to him and sanction the family pension along with arrears payable to the petitioner, subsequent to the death of petitioner's husband.

2. The petitioner has given a representation on 21.03.2022 for the aforementioned purpose. Since the representation has not been considered till date, she has filed this writ petition.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the respondents have not paid her husband's pension amount and after his death, family pension has also not been paid to the petitioner along with arrears payable to the petitioner. In such circumstances, the aforementioned representation has been given by the petitioner.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2022 is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the fourth respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2022, seeking for payment of pension of the petitioner's husband namely K.Subramani, payable to him till the date of his death and thereafter, family pension along with arrears payable to the petitioner, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 18.10.202 sr Index: Yes/No Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order 3/4
