Respondents in both W.Ps Prayer in W.P.No.29223 of 2010: Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the Advertisement issued vide No.ITM/R/3/2010 dated 26.10.2010 published in 'The Hindu' dated 24.11.2010 issued by the 5th respondent and quash the same in so far as it relates to prescription of a Post Graduate Diploma as one of the qualifications for selection and appointment to the post of Chief Medical Officer and consequently direct the respondents to issue a fresh notification for selection and appointment to the post of Chief Medical Officer by only prescribing Post Graduate Degree as one of the qualifications and to proceed further in accordance with law.

Prayer in W.P.No.29224 of 2010: Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the third respondent vide proceedings No.F.Admn.I/A2/2007/00/100 dated 31.07.2007 and quash the same in respect of the appointment of the 6th respondent alone and pass further suitable orders.
