This Writ Petition has been filed for Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider representation of the petitioner dated 06.09.2016 and to grant leave for my father Koola Nagarajan @ Nagarajan (Life Convict No.2330).

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public prosecutor, on instructions from the prison officials, submitted that as per the direction of this Court dated 06.09.2016, the life convict person viz., Koola Nagarajan @ Nagarajan was permitted to attend the mother-in-law funeral with police escort and he came back to the prison on the same day.
