Crl.OP.No.20076 of 2024 P. DHANABAL, J This petition has been filed by the petitioners/in-laws seeking anticipatory bail, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under Sections 84 BNS Act, (formerly 498A of IPC), Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, r/w Section 4 of he Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act based on the complaint given by the de-facto complainant/daughter-in-law.

2.Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent submitted that no FIR has been registered against the petitioners and enquiry was conducted based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant and also the petitioners were not harassed by the respondent police during enquiry.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
