Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue the revised certificate with corrected date of birth.

ORDER
The petitioner is seeking correction in the date of birth in the School Certificates. It is stated that already there was an order by the High Court of Kerala to that effect as the petitioner had studied in the State of Kerala. The petitioner seems to have given a representation to the respondents 1 to 3 dated 29.07.2016 along with the enclosures, namely, the Transfer Certificate issued by Talappally Panchayat (Kerala), Order passed in W.P.No.18096/2016 by the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala at Ernakulam, the Proceedings of the District Educational Officer, Chavakkad, Kerala dated 27.06.2016 and the Extract of the Admission Register dated 30.06.2016. 2.
The 3rd respondent, namely, the Vice Chancellor, Anna University, Guindy, Chennai, has already given a response, directing the petitioner to surrender all the original school certificates along with the corrected date of birth in the certificates such as SSLC/HSC to them to enable them to issue the corrected Revised Certificates, namely, Grade Sheet and Consolidated Mark Sheets etc., after carrying out the correction in the date of birth.

As the school authority, namely, the 1st respondent has not issued the revised certificate with the corrected date of birth, the petitioner has approached this Court for appropriate direction to issue the revised certificate with corrected date of birth.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent states that the said representation is not available with them and if a fresh representation is made with the enclosures as mentioned above, appropriate orders would be passed on the same. 5.
Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation along with the proof of documents to the 1st respondent, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order and on receipt of the same, the 1st respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the same, within a period of three weeks thereafter. 6.
