ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of the appeal pending in Na.No.9618/18/12 dated 06.06.2018 for correcting the mistake under UDR Scheme and issue Ryotwari Patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of Old Survey No.253/2 revised Survey No.67/2, Periyakumarapalayam Village measuring an extent of 1/3

5.75 acres.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the agricultural lands measuring an extent of 12.00 acres in Survey No. 253 in Periyakumarapalayam Village, Dharapura Taluk, Tiruppur District. The petitioner's name was mutated in the revenue records for the subject property, however, some mistakes were crept in. The petitioner made an appeal before the respondent and the same is pending without consideration till date. Hence, he seeks for issuance of direction to conclude the appeal proceedings in Na.No.9618/18/12 dated 06.06.2018.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent is directed to conclude the appeal proceedings in Na.No.9618/18/12 dated 06.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
