ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's Application No.1784 dated 20.01.2022 within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the property in Survey No.61/3B4 measuring to an extent of 13 cents and Survey Nos. 61/3B3B, 61/3A5B2 & 61/3B4A for an extent of 3 ares belongs to the petitioner and patta was also mutated in favour of the petitioner. While so, it is the claim of the petitioner that his properties were executed and released in favour of private respondents 2/5

by virtue of vaious bogus and fabricated documents. Hence, the petitioner made a petition before the first respondent on 20.01.20222, in pursuance, the first respondent issued notices to the petitioner and the private respondents and in furtherance to the same, enquiry were conducted. Since, no action was taken, the petitioner made a petition before the Deputy Inspector General of Registration, wherein, the same was forwarded to the first respondent for disposal in Letter No.3122/A1/2022 on 20.06.2022. However, till date no action taken on the part of the first respondent. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks this Court for issuance of direction for the first respondent to conclude the proceedings in Letter No.3122/A1/2022 on 20.06.2022 issued by the Deputy Inspector General of Registration, Chennai within a reasonable time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

4. Heard the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to conclude the proceedings in Letter No.3122/A1/2022 on 20.06.2022 issued by the Deputy Inspector General of 3/5

Registration, Chennai, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity of hearing to the petitioner well as any other interested parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
