ORDER

These miscellaneous petitions are filed to implead the proposed 3rd respondent as party respondent in the pending writ petitons.

2. Despite service of notice to the proposed respondents as per the order of this Court dated 05.01.2024, none appeared on behalf of the proposed respondent/3rd respondent, either in person or through counsel. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the 2nd respondent/Polytechnic College, where the petitioners are employed, was converted into a Government Polytechnic College in 2018. The 2nd respondent was earlier under the control and management of the proposed respondent. In view of the conversion of the 2nd respondent into a Government Polytechnic College, the proposed respondent is a necessary party to this writ petition, since, in the event the petitioners succeed in the writ petition, the proposed respondent would be liable to pay the benefits arising from the order.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the averments in the affidavit filed in support thereof, the miscellaneous petitions are ordered.

5. Post the writ petitions on 12.08.2025.
