This petition has been filed seeking to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.32 of 2021 pending on the file of the first respondent.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation has been completed and Final Report has been filed on 31.08.2023 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, Chennai and the cognizance is yet to be taken.

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the F.I.R at this stage. There shall be a direction to the Additional Mahila Court, Egmore to act upon the Final Report filed by the respondent Police. If ultimately the Final Report is taken on file and summons is issued to the petitioner and the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law.
