O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to grant police protection to the petitioner based on the representation dated 28.07.2023.

2.The Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner was taken on file and summons was issued to the petitioner and respondents 3 to 5. The respondents 3 to 5 had attended the enquiry and their statements were recorded and the relevant documents were collected. However, there is no response from the side of the petitioner. In view of the same, the complaint/representation is kept pending. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will attend the enquiry before the 2nd respondent and co-operate for the early disposal of the complaint.

5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to appear before the 2nd respondent for enquiry on 23.08.2023 at 11.00 am. The 2nd respondent shall record the statement of the petitioner and also collect the relevant documents. Thereafter, a final decision shall be taken in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks, thereafter. 6.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
