ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to hear and pass orders on the petitioner's Appeal dated 11.01.2016 preferred by the petitioner against the 2nd respondent's order, within a time frame.

2.It is stated by the petitioner that the petitioner was working as Conductor in respondent-Transport Corporation and he was dismissed from service by the order No.435/6770/44/Tha.Ka.Aa.Po.Ka/2014, dated 02.11.2015, passed by the 2nd respondent, on the allegation of some irregularities alleged to have been committed by the petitioner. Against the said order of dismissal, the petitioner preferred an appeal on 11.01.2016 before the 1st respondent. Since the said Appeal was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

not considered by the 1st respondent, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition before this Court. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondent-Corporation and perused the materials available on record.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the appeal dated 11.01.2016 preferred by the petitioner and to dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, with a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
