2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police would submit that no case has been registered against the petitioner. It was further stated that an inquiry into the petitioner based on the complaint filed by the defacto complainant is ongoing, and assurance was given that the inquiry related to the earlier petition will be completed as early as possible in accordance with law.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondent police, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
