ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 323, and 506 (i) and Section 420 of IPC in Cr.No.659 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner by giving false promise married the defacto complainant, after marriage, she came to know that the petitioner cheated many girls by way of giving false promises to marry them. It is further alleged that the petitioner borrowed money from the defacto complainant and her relatives to the tune of Rs.14,00,000/-. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case and he further submits that due to continuous ill-treatment of the defacto complainant, the petitioner he filed HMOP No. 1017 of 2021 is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
pending before the Family Court, Coimbatore and for that counter blast, the defacto complainant filed a present case. Hence prays for grant of anticipatory bail.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) raised objection stating that the petitioner cheated many girls by way of giving false promises to marry them . Hence, he vehemently opposed the grant of bail.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
