When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested for the offences under 108 of BNS Act and the crime number is unknown. But, the date of filing of the petition was on 09.08.2024 and the FIR shows that it was registered on 29.07.2024, that too, under Section 194 of BNSS Act.

Recording the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with a liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition.
