This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioners representation dated 6.2.2024 to exhume the mortal remains of Mrs.Poomalai wife of Kanhnupayian from the land in S.No.76/7F of Idaipatty village, Omalur Taluk, Salem district and buried in the Salem district Idaipatty village government symmetry.

2. Today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Upon perusal of records, it appears that this petition is pending for a period of 2 years and this matter was adjourned for several times. Even today, none appeared for the petitioner. Therefore, considering the long pendency, this Court is inclined to dismiss this petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No cost.
