ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.622 of 2010.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has been implicated as accused in the case in Crime No.622 of 2010 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 448, 352, 341 IPC and Section 3(8) of TNPPD Act. Though the said case was registered on 09.07.2010, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.622 of 2010 pending on his file and file a final report within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
