(The Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) The grievance of the petitioner is with TASMAC Shop No.9841 on the ground of it violating the norms laid down for opening of the shop.

2. The counter affidavit of the second respondent shows that this shop was originally located at Citamalli Bazar street at Mannarkudi Taluk, Thiruvarur District and on account of public grievance, the shop was shifted to the present location in accordance with Rule 8 of the Tamilnadu Liquor Retail Vending Rules, 2003. complaints alleged made by the petitioners on 27.04.2013 and on 01.05.2013 are stated to have been withdrawn on 03.05.2013 and the self-help group had agreed to withdraw the protest based on the information furnished.

3. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the writ petition is closed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
