The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence publishable under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(B) and 29 of NDPS Act in Crime No. 76 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that due to non appearance of the petitioner, the learned Additional District Judge, (EC Court), Coimbatore has issued Non Bailable Warrant and the same is pending.
3. Since already the trial Court has issued Non Bailable Warrant against the petitioner, it is appropriate for this Court to direct the petitioner to appear before the learned learned Additional District Judge, (EC Court), Coimbatore, for cancellation of Non Bailable Warrant and if any such application is filed by the petitioner, the trial Court is directed to consider the same on the same day on merits in accordance with law. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
