Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents according to the petitioners representation dated 21.09.2006 to refrain from disturbing the petitioners from the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property allotted and occupied by the petitioners in Survey No.137/6, 139, 140/1E situated at Dr.Ambedkar Nagar, Sthanur Village and Post, Chengal Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District.

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 21.09.2006 and to refrain from disturbing the petitioners from the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property allotted and occupied by the petitioners in Survey No.137/6, 139, 140/1E situated at Dr.Ambedkar Nagar, Sthanur Village and Post, Chengal Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District.

2.Though a larger relief has been sought for in this writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would now submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 21.09.2006, within a stipulated time. 3.In view of the limited scope of prayer now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court directs the fifth respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 21.09.2006 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Liberty is also granted to the petitioners to send a copy of this order to the fifth respondent so as to enable him/her to pass orders. 4.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
