The Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the first respondent passed in G.O.Ms.No.240 School Education (VE) Dept. dated 18.08.2010 and quash the offending portion of the Annexure namely III & IV in so far as the petitioners are concerned and consequently directing the respondent to award incentive increment to the petitioners by considering their present respective additional qualification than the required qualification to hold the post of Vocational Instructor.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 09.02.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Again when the matter was taken up for hearing on 16.02.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the matter was ordered to be listed to day ie., on 23.02.2024 under the caption "for dismissal". Today also there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for 'non prosecution'. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. No costs.
