The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents to revise the pay scale of the petitioners with effect from 01.01.2006 for the purpose of fixation of pay on the G.O.Ms.No.271, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 26.08.2010.
2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners state that the writ petitioners are working as Laboratory Assistant in the Government Arts College, Coimbatore https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and the revision of scale of pay is applicable, as per the Government Order has not been settled to them. In order to redress the grievances of the revision of pay, the petitioners have submitted a representation on 14.06.2012 to the respondents and the said representation is yet to be considered. 3.Thus, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioners on 14.06.2012 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioners are directed to enclose the copy of the representation along with the order passed in this writ petition.
4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
