The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 2nd respondent to dispose of his representation dated 28.06.2024 submitted by him seeking cancellation of exclusive patta issued in the name of 4th respondent and issue of fresh joint patta in the name of the petitioner and 4th respondent.

According to the petitioner, the property with an extent of 1 acre 32 cents in Survey No.56/2 and 57 at Mamandur Village, Vembakkam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District originally belonged to petitioner's father one Govindaraja Naicker. After his death, the property devolved on petitioner and his brother, the 4th respondent. However, the 4th respondent obtained exclusive patta suppressing the other heir. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to 2nd respondent on 28.06.2024 seeking cancellation of exclusive patta issued in the name of 4th respondent and issue of fresh joint patta in the name of petitioner and 4th respondent and the same has not been considered. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/5
3. The learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law within a time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.06.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after issuing necessary notice to 4th respondent.
