Though the petitioner sought for a direction to respondents to serve the award copy and also permission to file LAOP, a perusal of the representation submitted by him to the respondents 3 and 4 would suggest that adjacent land owners covered by the same notification sought for enhancement of compensation. In the reference made under Section 18(1) of the Land Acquisition Act, the compensation was enhanced in LAOP No.226/1998 and LAOP No.446/1998. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 09.04.2021 and also filed petitions under Section 28A(1) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 dated 22.09.2017 and 12.06.2018 seeking determination of compensation amount in accordance with award passed in above mentioned LAOPs. The said representation has not been considered by the respondents 3 and 4 till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
