ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2024 regarding declaring the settlement deeds 2450/2020, 2503/2020, 2504/2020, 2505/2020, and 2506/2020, dated 31.10.2020 as NULL and VOID, as per the Section 23 (1) of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner lodged a complaint under Section 23 (1) of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 before the second respondent. However, it is not been disposed of so far. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the counter parties if any, conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
