This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Respondent police not to harass the petitioner in any manner.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is unnecessarily harassed under the guise of enquiry and the petitioner was previously implicated in five cases viz.,S.C.No.25 of 2014, S.C.No.95 of 2010, S.C.No.244 of 2014, C.C.No.3710 of 2019 and C.C.No.178 of 2018 and in all these cases the petitioner was acquitted, but even thereafter the respondent police is harassing the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondent produced the list of cases, containing 44 cases against the petitioner and submitted that in some of the cases he has been acquitted. He further submitted that out of 44 cases, some cases are pending trial, some cases are not yet https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

taken on file and some under investigation. It is his further contention that in view of the petitioner's antecedents, the petitioner is history sheeted in H.S.No.520 of 2021 and to have watch on the petitioner, the petitioner was called but he never appeared before the respondent police and hence this cannot be treated as harassment.

4. In view of the petitioner's antecedents and involvement in many cases from the year 2001 to 2020, this Court finds that the contention of the petitioner that he is being harassed by the respondent police is unfounded.

5. In such view of the matter, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
