Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Declaration declaring that the acquisition proceedings initiated for the development of a Satellite town at Maraimalai Nagar Scheme in the year 1986 stands lapsed by virtue of the Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 and consequently direct the third respondent to re-convey the extent of 0.92 cents of land in S.No.233/2 in Sengundram Village, Chengalpet Taluk, Kanchipuram District in favour of the petitioner.

3. It is evident that the petitioners are not keen to prosecute the matter. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaenous Petition is closed.
