ORDER
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 194 of BNS @ 103(1), 118(1), 127(2) & 140(1) of BNS, 2023, in Crime No.274 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Considering the submissions, it is seen that the petitioner along with accused No.3 had picked up the deceased in order to retrieve the jewels of A1/Nandhini, who had a relationship with the deceased. Thereafter, the petitioner was present along with the deceased and other accused through and throughout. It is further seen that the deceased was beaten earlier and taken to various places. He was also forced to consume liquor and taken to 2/4
coconut grove. The case is projected by the petitioner as though he was not present throughout. However, from the records, it would be visualized that right from beginning the deceased has been with the petitioner, except the last moment of the deceased. The petitioner was very much aware about the happening as to what is going to happen to the deceased.
