ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.10.2021 for the alleged offence under Sections 363,366, 376(2) (n) 417, 506(1) of IPC, U/s 4 of the Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 and Section 67 of Information Technology Act 2000, in Crime No.13 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant have become friends from the year 2015 and their relationship turned into love affair during college days. Further, the petitioner had sexual intercourse with her under the pretext of marriage and also threatened the defacto complainant to release her obscene videos in the social media. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner and defacto complainant are in love from the 2015. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner cheated the defacto complainant in the guise of love and also gave a threat to release her obscene videos in social media. He further submitted that there is serious allegation made against the petitioner and the investigation is at initial stage. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner is involved in a very serious offence and the investigation is at initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
