THE HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE K.RAJASEKAR CRL OP NO.22372 of 2025 and MP.No.15737 of 2025 Inba @ Inbamathivanan Petitioner Vs The State Represented by Inspector of Police, CCB Avadi, Tiruvallur District.
Crime No.25 of 2022.
Respondent PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail in the event of arrest pending investigation in Crime No.25 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police. For Petitioner(s):
Mr.T.Mayakrishnan for Mr.R.Thamaraiselvan For Respondent(s):
Mr.S.Udayakumar Government Advocate (Crl.side) For Intervener : Mr.G.Paramasivam
ORDER
The petitioners, who apprehend arrest by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 34 of IPC, in Crime No.25 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. This is the fourth bail application filed by the petitioner. Earlier, this Court dismissed the anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.OP.No.7794 of 2025 by order dated 18.03.2025, considering his antecedents.
3. Earlier, when the matter was taken up on 12.08.2025, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that they were not ready to argue and obtained for adjournment. Hence, the matter was posted for hearing today.
4. Today, when the matter is called, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he requires some more time to advance his arguments.
5. Since the bail application has already been dismissed thrice, and this is the fourth successive bail petition, this Court is of the view
that filing successive bail applications amounts to abuse of the process of law. Hence, I am not inclined to consider the petition, without any change of circumstances.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 22-10-2025 drl To 1.The Inspector of Police, CCB Avadi, Tiruvallur District.
2.The Public Prosecutor High Court of Madras.
