[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter viz., Shilpa Parveen, aged about 21 years, went missing from 08.11.2021 and the police are not taking effective steps to secure her and hence, he has filed the present habeas corpus https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petition seeking a direction to the respondents to produce her before this Court and set her at liberty.
2. Today, Mr.S.Venkatesan, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Chengalpattu Town Police Station is present before this Court.
3. On instructions, Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry in Chengalpattu Town P.S.C.S.R.No.1108 of 2021 was conducted and during the enquiry, it came to light that Shilpa Parveen was in love with the 3rd respondent and got married to him on 09.11.2021. In support of this, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted photographs of the marriage of Shilpa Parveen with the 3rd respondent, which were handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner. He further submitted that Shilpa Parveen is residing with her husband/3rd respondent in her matrimonial home in Pudhumanai, Ambur, Tirupathur District.
