O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus or any other writ,directing the 2nd respondent to permit the petitioner to run the tiffin center in bunk shop in the premises of Government Primary Health Center, Mudur, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District for supply of food to the patients based on the representation of the petitioner dated 22-4-2021 forthwith.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a member of self help group namely 'Danwap Pannai Self Help Group Food Supplier' and the petitioner is disabled person, deaf to the extent of 80% for which he was issued a disability certificate on 07.08.2011. Thereafter the petitioner made a representation for permission to run a bunk shop in the respondent hospital premises. Till date the said representation has not been considered. The petitioner was previously honding a license to run the bunk shop in the hospital premises. However, subsequently in the year 2018 he was de-registered.

3. Thereafter the petitioner made a representation to grant license for running the bunk. Till date the representation was not considered hence the present writ petition is filed. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that this Court without going into the merits of the issue may direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation within a stipulated time.

4. Learned Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner bunk shop was evicted earlier and subsequently another person was granted permission for running the bunk shop. However, he submits that appropriate order will be passed based on the representation made by the petitioner.

5. In view of the above submissions, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
